Overview

On June 25th IAB hosted a webinar on geolocation and sensitive location. As Congress continues to examine new protections for online consumer information, the scrutiny over sensitive data, geolocation, targeting and other uses is growing. A number of draft bills have been introduced in the House and Senate, and the proposed obligations on companies demonstrate the sentiment in Congress. IAB has worked with the relevant stakeholders in both government and the digital advertising industry, and will spotlight where the winds of change could be heading in Washington and across state capitals.
