As President & CEO of NAI, Leigh Freund leads the organization’s growth and helps set the agenda and strategic priorities. Leigh joined NAI in 2015 after an eleven-year career at AOL Inc., where she served as vice president & chief counsel for global public policy.
Leigh brings more than a decade of substantive expertise in privacy, advertising, and public policy in the digital sector to her work at NAI. She has first-hand knowledge of the tremendous contributions third parties have made in the digital advertising space and she is a passionate believer in strong self-regulation.
During her time at AOL, Leigh led the company’s public policy efforts and was a leading voice on global digital and technology policy. Prior to that role, Leigh headed up the AOL advertising legal team and worked with AOL’s privacy team to promote and develop responsible use and collection of data, and ensure compliance with the industry’s self-regulatory programs.
Before joining AOL in 2004, Leigh worked at K&L Gates and on Capitol Hill with Rep. Fred Upton from her home state of Michigan.
Leigh holds an undergraduate degree in political science from Kalamazoo College and a J.D. from Georgetown University. She is an active participant in several industry organizations devoted to compliance with key regulatory initiatives and principles, including the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) and Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA).

Douglas Miller

Douglas Miller
Douglas Miller is Vice President, Global Privacy and Trust for Verizon Media, the amalgamation of AOL and Yahoo. In this role he develops privacy strategy and external messaging on privacy for the company, interprets public policy developments for the operational privacy team, and advocates in state capitals, Washington DC, and around the world for Verizon Media’s perspective and interests. He was previously Global Privacy Leader for Oath, leading operational privacy and compliance for the combined entity of AOL and Yahoo and its many brands. He has been a privacy professional for over twenty years, and led the privacy team at AOL since 2008. He also serves as Board Chair of the Network Advertising Initiative.

Alex Propes

Alex Propes
Alex Propes was the Vice President of Public Policy & International at the Interactive Advertising Bureau, based out of its Washington D.C. office. He was responsible for coordinating policy initiatives and representing IAB policy positions to the federal government. Prior to joining IAB, Alex served as the Policy Manager at the European-American Business Council, where he managed government affairs activities related to cloud computing, privacy, and telecommunications. Alex has experience managing online marketing campaigns. He holds a bachelor’s degree in economics.

Aaron Stevens

Aaron Stevens
Aaron Stevens is the Vice President of Strategic Partnerships at Osano. He leads the Corporate Business Development and Strategic Partnerships team at Osano, driving innovation, differentiation and new routes to market through key strategic alliances. He has been in the Privacy and compliance world since 2012 and his privacy credentials include both the CIPP/ US and the CIPT certifications. He holds a BA from Wheaton College (MA), an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University, he was previously working with the IAPP (International Association of Privacy Professionals) and is currently the IAPP’s Knowledge Net Chair for the Boston Chapter.

Moses Vejil

Moses Vejil
Moses Vejil joined the legal department of The Hershey Company in April 2016. During his first year with the company, he supported Hershey’s commercial function across Europe, the Middle East and Africa, as well as Hershey’s World Travel Retail, Chocolate World and Licensing businesses globally. Since June 2017, Moses has supported Hershey’s U.S. marketing and sales functions and internal creative agency and advises on data privacy matters including compliance with GDPR and CCPA. He is currently leading a project to pilot a chat bot that will be utilized by the legal department’s clients.
Prior to joining Hershey, Moses was the Division Counsel for Harsco Corporation’s Industrial division. As Division Counsel, Moses was a member of the Industrial division’s senior leadership team and advised the division in a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including commercial transactions, marketing, M&A, regulatory compliance, and IP portfolio management.
Moses received his B.S. in Environmental Engineering from Harvard College in 1998. He received a J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 2009 and an M.B.A. from the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth in 2009. He is a member of Phi Iota Alpha Fraternity and a Consortium alumnus.
