2024 IAB Measurement Leadership Summit

As GM of Audience Measurement at Nielsen, Ameneh Atai is responsible for leading global digital and advanced TV commercial strategy, sales and business development teams in the US.

Ameneh joined Nielsen in 2015 through the acquisition of eXelate. Ameneh brings diverse knowledge to the Ad and MarTech space as her previous roles were in Director of Solutions Architecture and Director of Artificial Intelligence Solutions; her strengths are in advising and working directly with marketers and advertisers. She is client focused with a strong background in data-driven software solutions and extensive experience in the digital advertising ecosystem.

Ameneh started her career in Systems Engineering and held positions at International Submarine Engineering and Engineering Consulting, designing autonomous submarines and Big Data collection and monitoring infrastructures. She received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Electrical Engineering – Electronics from Simon Fraser University and holds three US patents in systems design, one of which has been in collaboration with University of Waterloo. In her personal time, Ameneh is an avid traveler. She also is classically trained in dance and passionate about empowering young women by teaching dance and choreography.

Kelly Barrett is the Senior Vice President of Product Management at Comscore and a Digital/TV Researcher and Strategic Partnerships Executive with extensive experience leading strong research teams dedicated to producing actionable consumer insights. As part of her role at Comscore, Kelly leads the UDM 2.0 and first party data strategy, future proofing solutions for publishers, brands and agencies in a privacy focused future.

Chris Bruderle brings over 25 years of experience in Data/Web Analytics and Media Market Research at premium Digital and Muti-Platform web publishers including The Daily Beast, Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Conde Nast Publications and This Old House Ventures.

Before working at IAB where he leads research-based thought leadership initiatives, Chris was most recently VP, Analytics & Research at The Daily Beast where he spent nearly 7 years and was responsible for the tracking, analysis and reporting of The Daily Beast’s O&O site and off-platform data/analytics for Senior/Corporate Management, Editorial, Advertising Sales, Product/Engineering, Audience/Business Development, Social Media and PR. He established the company-wide Editorial Analytics and Advertising Sales data and research stacks which included, among others, Google Analytics, Parse.ly, Krux DMP, Optimizely, comScore, Kantar, Samba, Newswhip, Crowd Tangle, Buzzsumo, and CrazyEgg.

Prior to The Daily Beast, Chris spent 5 years as Associate and Acting Director at Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia where he directed the correspondence and development of all research-based strategies supporting the Advertising Sales and Marketing staffs of each of the MSLO media brands and platforms across digital, mobile/tablet, TV, print and radio. Chris has also held marketing and market research positions at Conde Nast and Time Inc.

Chris started his career at BBDO as an Assistant Media Planner where he most notably completed the “Media Training Program”.

Jeffrey Bustos is Vice President of Measurement, Addressability & Data at IAB — in partnership with Angelina Eng — where he focuses on data, privacy, and measurement. Previously, Jeffrey was at GroupM on the Data, Audience & Platform Strategy team working on audience science, data enablement, and measurement, while also developing sustainable and future proofing solutions. Jeffrey has a strong background in developing strategies and outlining processes for adoption with a focus on taxonomy, audience architecture and measurement. As part of the DAP team at GroupM, Jeffrey was a leader in developing strategic plans and measurement frameworks in preparation for cookie deprecation. In addition, he led the Cookieless Future Taskforce, participated in Global Identity panels, and developed training plans for cross-agency learning.

A seasoned executive with 24+ years of digital media, marketing and operations experience, Angelina Eng has focused her career on supporting agencies and brands to define, build and manage digital media and marketing efforts while enabling teams to operationally work efficiently and effectively with both internal and external partners and platforms. She’s been responsible for the development and management of internal systems and workflow, establishment of deliverable standards, designing ad trafficking and tracking guidelines, implementation of emerging platforms, as well as establishing best practices at companies such as Morgan Stanley, Merkle, Dentsu Aegis and Publicis Modem.

Over the years, She has been involved with multiple organizations and events to help define, establish and advocate some of the industry standards that we see in today’s digital media ecosystem (such as ad verification/brand safety, ad fraud, viewability and programmatic, social, etc)

Angelina has been awarded the AdMonsters 2018 Power List, IAB Data Rockstar 2016 and AdMonsters Digital Media Leadership Award 2016.

As part of the data solutions team within essenceMediacom, Mebrulin (Meb) is a strategic data partner with an 18-year career, specializing in developing advanced audience strategies, data solutions and tech stack integrations.

Using a data agnostic approach to insights and innovative data mining techniques, Meb strives to bring audience insights and analytics to the forefront of the discussion. Her mission is to inspire, inform, and push the boundaries on how data can be used to drive business results. Meb has worked with major marketers across a broad range of products and service including: Coca Cola, Bayer, Astellas, Walgreens, Target, eBay, Uber, Nestle, NBC Universal, MARS, Citi, among others.

She holds a Master’s of Science degree in Integrated Marketing from New York University with a specialization in Marketing Analytics. She seats on the board of She Runs It an organization focused on helping women lead in Marketing, Media and Tech. Notably, she led the deployment of the Covid Vaccination Demand Model for Walgreens, earning multiple industry awards including the iCOM Data Creativity awards, Best use of real time Marketing at the Festival of Media, the Grand Prix Internationalist Innovation Digital solutions award, and the Echo Gold Award from the ANA master’s in data and technology, among others. She is also part of the 2022 Adweek all-star class, representing the top 19 Media Executives driving media agency evolution.

Jonah Goodhart is the CEO and Co-Founder of Moat, a New York based Analytics company focused on driving success for brand marketers and premium publishers. Moat is at the forefront of helping shift digital advertising away from impressions and clicks and toward new models of attention. Jonah was the Founding Investor and Board Member of Right Media (acquired by Yahoo!), Founding Partner of WGI Group, and Co-Founder of Billions.org. Jonah was also a member of Mayor Bloomberg’s Council on Technology and Innovation.

Marc Guldimann is the Founder and CEO of Adelaide, the industry leader in attention-based media quality measurement. Adelaide puts evidence-based measurement into practice using AU, an omnichannel metric proven to measure media quality more accurately than existing verification metrics.

Before creating Adelaide, Marc founded Parsec, the first marketplace to sell media based on time spent. He also served as the founding CEO of Enliken and Spongecell. Prior to digital media, Marc worked in the wireless network security industry, where he developed the first wireless virus filter. A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University, Marc holds a degree in Social Decision Sciences.

Anthony Katsur is a media technology veteran with more than twenty-five years of executive leadership and technical experience at innovative technology companies in the digital media industry.

Most recently, Anthony was SVP, Strategy, Operations and Corporate Development at Nexstar Media Group, Inc., the largest local broadcaster in the United States. Anthony was responsible for overseeing strategy, technology platforms and corporate development across Nexstar’s portfolio of digital assets.

Prior to Nexstar, Anthony served as President of Sonobi, where he implemented their product and go to market strategy around people-based marketing. Anthony recruited, and led highly effective teams while driving strategic partnerships with leading media companies, agencies and brands.

Prior to Sonobi, Anthony held global leadership roles at Rubicon Project as EVP of Business Operations and General Manager of Buyer Cloud. He also held global executive roles at MediaMath and Maxifier, where he served as CEO. Earlier in his career, he joined DoubleClick via the acquisition of NetGravity where he lead multiple engineering divisions and also fulfilled several product leadership and general management roles.

Anthony is an active participant at industry conferences, speaking about the latest ends in advertising at the National Association of Broadcasters, AdAge’s Brand Summit, Advertising Week, Broadcasting & Cable, AdMonsters and GABBCON. He has been quoted on industry trends and provided thought leadership in The Wall Street Journal, AdAge, Adweek, AdExchanger, MediaPost, Econsultancy and Digiday, among others.

Terence Kawaja is Founder and CEO of LUMA Partners, a strategic advisory firm focused at the intersection of media, marketing and technology. He is a seasoned investment banker with more than 25 years of experience and has advised on over $300 billion of transactions, including some of the most pivotal deals in the media and tech industries.

Terry is both a recognized expert in digital media and a popular speaker at leading industry conferences, frequently using humor to aid substantive presentations.

Dr. Jon Roberts is Chief Innovation Officer and has been with Dotdash Meredith since 2013. He previously held roles as President, Health & Finance where he oversaw strategy for Verywell, Health, Parents, Investopedia and The Balance. He also held various senior leadership roles including Head of Data Science, where he derived insights from more than 20 years of Internet data across thousands of topics. Prior to joining Dotdash Meredith, Jon spent 10 years as a theoretical physicist focused on making dark matter predictions for the hadron collider at CERN, and cosmic ray predictions for the AMS detector on the International Space Station. He also worked on the Pierre Auger telescope in Argentina.

Dr. Roberts received his Ph.D. at the University of Southampton and his M.A. from the University of Oxford.

Travis Scoles is Senior Vice President of Advanced Advertising at Paramount. In this role, Scoles oversees all aspects of Vantage, Paramount’s advanced advertising solution, as well as other internal data optimization and analysis products. He is also responsible for managing key efforts in currency and measurement innovation on behalf of the company. A trailblazer in advanced advertising, Scoles plays a key role in driving industry-wide understanding and adoption of a multi-currency marketplace in addition to shepherding thought and product leadership in service of the industry.

Scoles joined the company, formerly ViacomCBS, to lead product strategy and development as well as operations for Vantage. Prior to joining Paramount, he worked in the consulting space on quantitative research, media analytics, and media optimization.

Scoles has been recognized for his foresight and strategic thinking in Ad Age 40 under 40 as well as Broadcasting + Cable and Multichannel News’ 40 under 40 lists. 

Scoles lives in Darien, CT with his wife and two children.

Peter Sedlarcik is President, Data, Technology, Analytics, and Insights (DTAI) at Spark Foundry, a global media agency brand within Publicis Media. Spark Foundry’s bold vision harnesses a startup spirit with a powerhouse soul that melds an entrepreneurial and innovative business approach with the resources, capabilities, and marketplace clout of a larger network. Spark Foundry was named Adweek’s 2022 U.S. Media Agency of the Year and Ad Age’s 2022 Media Agency of the Year.

In this role, Sedlarcik leads the DTAI practice at the agency and is responsible for infusing data and analytics into the work being delivered to ensure all media investments are audience-centric and accountable to brand and business outcomes. Under Sedlarcik’s guidance, the DTAI team partners with clients to build sustainable transformation roadmaps for integrating data, technology, and analytics into a data-driven decision-making engine that helps future-proof the business. 

Sedlarcik holds over 20 years of progressive experience leading teams across the data, technology, analytics, and insights fields. Throughout his career, he has worked with brands across many categories including durable goods, automotive, retail, financial services, packaged goods, healthcare, travel, and technology. 

As a major proponent of the importance of data and analytics to drive marketing decisions and outcomes, Sedlarcik is dedicated to advancing data and analytics across the industry. He has served as Chair of the 4A’s (American Association of Advertising Agencies) Measurement Committee, sits on the Board of Trustees for the ARF (Advertising Research Foundation), and is an active board member of the MRC (Media Ratings Council).

Sedlarcik received a bachelor’s degree from Fordham University and a master’s degree from Baruch College’s Zicklin School of Business.

Matt Shapo is a product development and digital strategy leader who brings more than 20 years of experience overseeing the creation and multi-platform delivery of online content and internet advertising to his role as the Director of Digital Audio and Video at the IAB.

Before IAB, Matt served as VP of Digital Content for the All Access Music Group, a music marketing company and audio industry news publisher where he planned and led advertising, editorial, and other growth initiatives for AllAccess.com, a B2B website that delivers breaking news, data, and commentary to an audience of professional audio content creators, salespeople, and decisionmakers.

Over the course of his career, Matt has directed and measured the effectiveness of integrated advertising and email marketing campaigns for multiple leading record labels and radio companies. He has also led the ideation, development, launch, and continuous iteration of profitable digital media products, including an industry leading digital audio distribution platform that delivers new music and related content to a nationwide user base of radio stations, streaming services, tv networks, podcasters, and others.

Matt holds a B.A. in Political Science and International Relations from Tufts University and an M.F.A. in Radio, TV, and Film Production from Florida State University, and he is a devoted fan of his hometown Miami Dolphins. He lives with his wife, Jennifer, and their wonderful son Evan, in Randolph, NJ where he is an enthusiastic hiker and a proud member of the Randolph High School Marching Rams parents’ road crew.

Marc Vermut, VP, The Knowledge Lab, is a marketing strategy, measurement, data and analytics executive with 20+ years’ experience across the retail, technology, telecommunications, and entertainment sectors. Marc is responsible for driving thought leadership and innovation across Neustar’s Marketing Solutions identity, segmentation, activation and measurement offerings, as well as delivering strategic insights that help brand leaders make better, more data-driven, marketing investment decisions.

Jolyn Yao is a Product Management Lead at Google, overseeing attribution measurement in the Privacy Sandbox for the Web as well as Android. The Privacy Sandbox initiative aims to create technologies that both protect people’s privacy online and give companies and developers tools to build thriving digital businesses.


Before joining Privacy Sandbox, Jolyn was most recently working on the Product teams for Google Ads and Search Ads 360, where she was responsible for data integrations, reporting, and agency/advertiser workflows. 

Pam is a 30+ year veteran of the media and marketing industry who is a proven media strategist across digital, programmatic, and traditional platforms. Known for innovative approaches to media and marketing challenges that turn the complex media eco system into understandable ideas for both the C-Suite and day-to-day tacticians. Pam sees the world as a white board – empty, boundless space to create, transform and innovate for growth; to re-imagine how media and marketing can work to grow brands and build companies. Pam believes winning at the intersection of data, content, marketplace, and technology means refusing to let the status quo be good enough and being humble enough to know true transformation takes collaboration, iteration, willpower, and trust.

Pam spent her first 25 years on the agency side at Publicis Media leading clients such as Procter & Gamble, Microsoft, Activision, Yahoo and others. In addition to client leadership Pam built new practices for the agency including Advanced TV and Experience Design. To broaden her experience, Pam also spent 3 years leading Media for Starcom Mediavest Group in Russia when that market first opened to media in the mid-1990s. This taught Pam that anything is possible to create in the marketplace with some ingenuity, marketplace knowledge, and a relentless push creates win – win – win experiences for consumers, marketers and publishers. Following her work on the agency side, Pam spent five years consulting for the media and technology companies (NBCU, Fox, Viacom, Double Verify) helping them design custom programs and market their digital assets for growth. For the past fifteen months, Pam has been at Amobee, an Ad Tech firm, leading their marketing and sales strategy efforts to bring new identity, performance and new targeting techniques to the DSP and cross channel planning marketplace.

Pam lives in Hastings on Hudson, NY with her two sons.
