Leaders of Digital Advertising and Marketing Converge as IAB Annual Leadership Meeting Convenes

Google’s Dr. Eric Schmidt To Keynote; Theme This Year Is “The People vs. Data”

PALM SPRINGS, CA (February 27, 2011) — More than 750 digital leaders have gathered today to launch a three-day discussion of the most significant topics for the interactive advertising industry. They are assembling at the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) 2011 Annual Leadership Meeting, at La Quinta Resort & Club. It is the organization’s most prestigious thought-leadership conference. Dr. Eric Schmidt, Chairman and CEO at Google, opens the event with a much-anticipated keynote presentation. In its fourth year, this annual event will provide a venue for passionate debate on one of the industry’s most important issues, “People vs. Data.”

This year’s IAB Founder’s Award, recognizing contribution and service to digital media, will be presented to David Moore, Chairman and Founder, Chief Executive Officer, 24/7 Real Media, a WPP Company, and also outgoing Chairman, IAB Board of Directors. The award is presented to Moore by Bob Carrigan, Chief Executive Officer, IDG Communications, and Chairman, IAB Board of Directors.
