IAB Releases 2017 Digital Content NewFronts Schedule

10-Day Marketplace to Showcase for Brands and Agencies the Latest Original Digital Video Programming from Founding Partners—AOL, DigitasLBi, Google/YouTube, Hulu, and Yahoo—and 27 Other Leaders in Entertainment, News & Information

NEW YORK, NY (December 14, 2016) — IAB (Interactive Advertising Bureau) today released the schedule for the sixth annual Digital Content NewFronts, to be held May 1 – 12, 2017, in New York City. The 10-day marketplace for brands and media buyers will include presentations from media powerhouses and digital innovators featuring big name celebrities, innovative storytelling, and groundbreaking video experiences. For the fifth consecutive year, IAB will serve as managing partner of the NewFronts, handling event logistics and marketing and communications for the two-week event.

NewFronts’ co-founders—AOL, DigitasLBi, Google/YouTube, Hulu, and Yahoo—will be joined at the 2017 marketplace by AwesomenessTV, Bloomberg Media, Business Insider, BuzzFeed, Condé Nast Entertainment, DailyMail.com/Elite Daily, DEFY Media, Disney/Maker Studios, Fullscreen, HealthiNation, Hearst, Major League Gaming, Mashable, National Geographic, The New York Times, Newsy, NowThis, POPSUGAR, Refinery29, Spectrum Reach, Studio71, Time Inc., Trusted Media Brands (TMBI), Turner, VICE, Vix, and Warner Bros. Digital Networks/Machinima. Additional original digital content producers are expected to join the line-up in the weeks ahead to fill the few slots still available. Each company will produce and manage its own independent, invitation-only event. As in years past, the IAB Digital Video Center of Excellence will host a research luncheon during the NewFronts’ second week to introduce digital video studies and critical insights from a range of industry leaders.
