Under the Microscope in Europe

In mid-October, the Belgian Data Protection Authority (DPA) issued a preliminary report concerning IAB Europe and the Transparency & Consent Framework (TCF). In this briefing, our colleagues from IAB Europe will discuss their views of the report’s impact on the TCF, and how its implications may be more problematic for standards organizations going forward may be more problematic.

And, they will provide an overview of the Digital Services Act (DSA) and ePrivacy as an update from Brussels on the latest privacy legislation in the European Union. They will also explain how the remainder of the process is going to play out.
