Join leaders from advertising, legal, privacy, compliance, and technology for a live discussion extending the conversation from IAB’s Privacy Technology Insights article on Consent Management Platforms, server-side tagging, and CIPA.
This moderated, presentation-based webinar will bring the Privacy Technology Insights discussion live, examining how CMPs and server-side tagging technologies are being used to manage consent signals, control data flows, support measurement and advertising use cases, and create stronger audit trails across websites, apps, and digital media properties.
The session will also explore how these tools can help organizations navigate emerging legal risk under CIPA, state privacy laws, and other privacy and wiretapping frameworks — while emphasizing that technology alone does not create compliance without proper configuration, oversight, and governance.
Attendees will gain practical insights into consent banner design, pre-consent firing, dark patterns, vendor oversight, regional consent localization, recordkeeping, server-side data controls, and the role of industry standards such as IAB’s TCF and GPP signals in supporting responsible data collection and use.
