CJ is also a regular contributor to PwC’s Consumer Intelligence Series, which evaluates shifting consumer behavior including the opportunities with smart speakers. CJ was the primary author of PwC’s position paper on the opportunities and challenges with a blockchain solution for digital advertising and is a regular speaker at technology industry events and conferences, including Grace Hopper and the Trust in Advertising panel at the Variety Innovate conference.
Jack joins the IAB with over 20 years of experience at platforms, brands, and agencies leading global research and insights initiatives that foster smarter business decisions. An enthusiastic data-driven storyteller, he’s passionate about exploring the boundaries of research to elevate industry intelligence and strives to inspire action through insights.
Prior to joining the IAB Jack led and scaled global research, insights, and measurement teams at rapidly emerging digital media platforms including Microsoft, EA, LinkedIn, and Spotify. Most recently Jack was at Reddit, where he established the Marketing Sciences organization responsible for advancing ad measurement capabilities and partnerships, producing research amplifying industry awareness and understanding of online communities, and uncovering contextual insights and identifying audience trends that tell the world about their world.
Jack and his teams have accepted awards from industry bodies such as the Advertising Research Foundation and the Insights Association, and he’s had the pleasure of sharing research findings in publications and on industry stages around the globe. He attended Washington University in St. Louis, earning degrees from the Olin School of Business and the Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts.
I have over 7 years of experience working with Fortune 500 companies in the media, telecommunications, and technology industries. I’ve advised companies on strategic advertising initiatives, new product development, supply chain transformation, SaaS transformation, and acquisition/divestiture execution.
For over 3 years I have collaborated with the Interactive Advertising Bureau on a number of projects related to developing comprehensive studies of the internet and podcast advertising industry in the United States.
Luke Stillman is a leading expert on the global digital media and ad tech industry, and digital advertising trends.
Luke is currently SVP, Global Media Intelligence. In this role, Luke analyzes advertising spend and growth across all media formats and devices in over 70 countries, focusing on programmatic audience-based technology and its impact across the media landscape. In addition, Luke serves as a principal author of MAGNA’s Programmatic Intelligence report, Global Forecasts, and Global Industry Report, the industry’s leading publications about the future of the advertising economy. He also writes regularly about the media landscapes in China, Australia and Russia, and about the Automotive and Finance industry verticals.
In his 8 years with MAGNA, Luke as developed as a one of the top researchers and experts on the digital media ecosystem and his “Programmatic Report” is the most trusted and quoted in the ad tech industry. Luke has regularly featured in industry conferences and the trade press (e.g. Ad Exchanger). For instance he was invited to share thoughts on US digital advertising trends by the US IAB in 2020 (click here to watch a replay).
Prior to MAGNA, Luke served as an Industrials Analyst at both Archeroak Capital Management and JL Berkowitz. He holds a Bachelors of Arts in Quantitative Economics and Art History from Tufts University. He’s married and a father of two, and lives in New Jersey.
