According to the AdEx survey – carried out by PwC on behalf of IAB Poland – in the third quarter of 2015 online advertising spending in Poland increased by 20.4%. In the third quarter, the digital advertising market reached a value of 2.19 billion Polish Zloty (approximately US $580 million). The observed growth trend indicates that by the end of the year the value may exceed 3 billion Polish Zloty.
“Such a high growth rate shows that advertisers increasingly appreciate the efficiency and potential of the interactive marketing channel. It is natural, after all, the Internet becomes the primary channel to obtain information, entertainment, and for communications. Since users spend more time using the Internet, advertisers here just want to reach them with their advertising,” explains Włodzimierz Schmidt, CEO of IAB Poland. Read more.
