IAB Launches in Ukraine

IAB Ukraine to Advance Digital Advertising Global Standards, Develop Local Research, Promote Professional Education & Establish Awards Program

NEW YORK, NY & KIEV, UKRAINE (February 22, 2018) —The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) announced today the formation of IAB Ukraine. Yaroslava Antipina, who most recently served as Head of Digital Projects at Media Group Ukraine, has been named CEO of the new organization. IAB Ukraine will work with IAB to drive common goals, promote global standards and guidelines, create better ads and improve consumer experience, and advance social trust and the industry’s interests in the Ukraine marketplace.

The mission of IAB Ukraine is to establish unique and transparent standards for digital advertising, to educate and develop the local market, and to test and implement new innovations. Among IAB Ukraine founding members are Google Ukraine, leading sales house and advertising network Admixer, representative offices of the market research company Kantar TNS, media investment group GroupM and advertising agency Publicis One, network of online trading platforms OLX Group, media holding Media Group Ukraine, and popular Ukrainian news website obozrevatel.com. The organization will tackle an ambitious agenda by beginning planning on research, education, standards implementation and auditing, platform certification, and awards to recognize innovative advertising campaigns and solutions.

There are IABs in Africa, Asia, Australia, Europe, North America, and South America. With the addition of IAB Ukraine, there are 45 national IABs and one regional IAB, IAB Europe. Each organization is independently owned and operated, functioning under bylaws consonant with local market needs, with transparent governance and finances, to advance the interests of the digital industry.
