Adam Eisler is a Brooklyn based data privacy attorney and technologist. Adam has experience working with clients in a diverse range of industries on proactive and reactive data privacy issues. Prior to joining IAB, Adam worked as a Senior Consultant on data privacy issues, as well as an attorney for a mid-sized law firm and data protection team member for one of the “big four” professional services firms.
Adam received his Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Brooklyn Law School, a Master of Arts degree in Near Eastern and Judaic Studies from Brandeis University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Middle Eastern Studies from the University of Connecticut. In his free time, you can find him training in a variety of martial arts, reading, and spending quality time with his partner and two cats.
Jessica Lee’s practice focuses on emerging media, technology, advertising and promotions, privacy and intellectual property. She has represented clients in a variety of fields, including Internet, film, music, sports, telecommunications, and consumer products. Ms. Lee advises on advanced advertising strategies and helps clients optimize data collected through emerging media platforms, included OTT apps, social media platforms, wearables, chatbots and other technology. She specializes in social media law and regularly counsels clients on everything from engaging influencers to using user generated content to optimize data collected through social media campaigns. Ms. Lee advises on global and European data protection laws including data protection strategy and compliance (with a focus on the General Data Protection Regulation), privacy impact assessments, privacy by design, cross-border transfers of personal data and the development of privacy and data retention policies. In addition, Ms. Lee counsels clients on a variety of advertising and marketing related issues, including advising clients on compliance with a wide range of state and federal laws and regulations, including the Federal Trade Commission’s recent “.com Disclosures” guidelines, the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA), and the Telephone Consumer Protection Act (TCPA). Ms. Lee has experience reviewing and drafting a variety of agreements, including content licensing agreements, agency-service agreements, sponsorship agreements, website policies, licensing agreements and releases.
