Feras holds a J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law and a B.A. from Florida Gulf Coast University.

Didier Barjon is a Haitian-American, born in New York City and raised in Tampa, Florida. He is the Technology Legislative Assistant for U.S. Senate Majority Leader Charles Schumer (D-NY), advising the senator on technology, telecommunications, antitrust and intellectual property policy. He previously served as a Legislative Assistant for Senator Gary Peters (D-MI) and U.S. Rep. Kathy Castor (FL-14).


Additionally, Barjon serves on the Advisory Board for the Black Men on the Hill, a Congressional Staff Organization of the U.S. House of Representatives that aims to enhance the political, social, and economic capabilities of Black staffers on Capitol Hill and in the Greater Washington Metropolitan area.

Patrick Bernhardt is Director, Assistant General Counsel for Privacy and Data Protection at Capital One. He leads a team that advises the business on a broad range of sector-specific and comprehensive privacy laws in the United States and around the world. Patrick focuses on providing strategic privacy guidance on Capital One’s new enterprise products, emerging technologies, marketing practices, privacy policies and internal governance, mergers and acquisitions, state and federal privacy legislation, and employee and children’s privacy issues. Prior to joining Capital One, Patrick worked in the privacy and cybersecurity practice groups at Morrison & Foerster and WilmerHale in Washington, DC.

David Caragliano is the Global Head for Ads Safety on Google’s Government Affairs and Public Policy team. He has spent the last ten years advising on and developing product policies related to online safety and elections integrity at Google, YouTube, and at Meta. David currently provides public policy and regulatory advice to Google Ads product and engineering teams, and represents Google Ads in key AI-related legislative and regulatory initiatives globally. Before coming to tech, David managed a global team implementing elections and human rights programs at the National Democratic Institute. David holds a JD from the University of Michigan Law School and is a member of the New York Bar.

Mayra is Senior Counsel for Global Privacy & Data Policy at Omnicom Media Group based in New York City. Before that, she was a Privacy Compliance Lead at MetLife’s Global Corporate Privacy Office. She also worked as a Senior Consultant at a New York City and Chicago consulting firm, providing privacy advice to multi-national organizations in the information technology and pharmaceutical industries. Mayra started her career in privacy in 2012 when she interned for the Department of International Law of the Organization of American States in Washington, D.C. She also worked for two of the most prominent law firms in Mexico where she advised large-scale companies on privacy law, bringing the European know-how to the region.


Mayra is admitted to practice law in the State of New York. She has an LL.M from the George Washington University Law School and an LL. B from the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education School of Law. She served as IAPP’s New York City Co-Chair for 2018-2020.

David Cohen joined IAB in April 2020 as President and was named Chief Executive Officer in September 2020. Cohen is a widely respected advertising agency leader who, prior to IAB, served as President, North America for MAGNA, Interpublic Group’s (IPG) centralized media intelligence, investment, and innovation arm. In this role, Cohen was responsible for more than $20 billion in media spend. During his tenure, Cohen structured and executed large global transactions on behalf of IPG and its clients, with such major IAB member companies as Facebook, Google, Microsoft, Spotify, Twitter, and Verizon Media.

Prior to MAGNA, Cohen served as Chief Investment Officer of UM, ensuring that digital innovation, data, and technology acumen flowed throughout the agency to drive performance. From 2001 to 2011, Cohen served in critical, transformational roles at UM during the explosive growth of digital advertising, including Chief Media Officer, Chief Digital Officer, and Executive Vice President, U.S. Director of Digital Communications. In the late 1990’s, Cohen was responsible for launching and building IPG’s digital practice.

Cohen has a long history of working with trade organizations including IAB and 4As, where he served as chairman of the Interactive Marketing Committee from 2009-2013. He has also been instrumental in initiating several vital industry-wide programs, including the Future of Television, facilitated by EY. Cohen is a Queens native, with a bachelor’s degree in communications from Adelphi University. He was recognized by Adweek as a “Media All Star” and was part of the “Adweek 50” in 2012.

In 2016, David was elected to the Board of Directors of Partnership with Children a non-profit whose mission is to strengthen the emotional, social, and cognitive skills of vulnerable children in New York City to help them succeed in school, society, and life.

David enjoys spending time with his wife and two teenage daughters. A self-described gadget-geek and sometimes fitness fanatic – he ran the NYC Marathon in 2014 and 2019 and Boston Marathon in 2016.

Tanya Forsheit is Head of Privacy Compliance at The New York Times Company. Tanya has more than 25 years of experience advising on high-profile matters involving confidential data and other sensitive information. She previously led the privacy practice at several law firms including Loeb & Loeb and Frankfurt Kurnit. Tanya is a past President of the Women Lawyers Association of Los Angeles, a past Trustee of the Los Angeles County Bar Association (LACBA), and was the Founding Chair of LACBA’s Privacy and Cybersecurity Section. Tanya graduated from the University of Pennsylvania Law School in 1997.

Dona J. Fraser is a leading privacy expert with a passion for building creative solutions to business problems. As the Senior Vice President, Privacy Initiatives for BBB National Programs, Ms. Fraser oversees the strategic development, implementation, and ongoing efforts of the organization’s privacy programs, activities, and services. Ms. Fraser provides a deep understanding of the complexities of privacy issues and the marketplace challenges facing advertisers and brings extensive experience in the self-regulation space with a track record of helping companies do the right thing.


Since joining BBB National Programs in 2017, Ms. Fraser has been instrumental in driving progress forward in a variety of organizational programs and initiatives, including leading the organization’s first ever PrivacyCollective Roundtable, an event that brought together privacy experts to discuss current privacy issues facing the marketplace and craft solutions. She has also overhauled and expanded services provided by BBB National Programs’ Children’s Advertising Review Unit (CARU), growing membership and nearly doubling participant numbers for the CARU COPPA Safe Harbor program— the first FTC-approved Safe Harbor program.


Before joining BBB National Programs, Ms. Fraser served as Vice President, Privacy Certified for the Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB), a self-regulatory program developed by the video game industry, for ten years. In this role, Ms. Fraser was responsible for providing hands-on assistance to participating companies on development of data collection and privacy practices to meet ESRB standards. She also crafted privacy best practices in several areas including mobile apps, downloadable games, short-form privacy policies, behavioral advertising and social networking. Prior to ESRB, Ms. Fraser served as a Director of Business and Legal Affairs for music labels at BMG/Sony Music in New York.

Svetlana S. Gans is a partner in the Washington, D.C. office of Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher where she helps clients navigate complex consumer protection (advertising, marketing, privacy, and right to repair) and competition related regulatory proceedings before the U.S. Federal Trade Commission (FTC), U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, and other enforcement bodies, and provides strategic advice on related public policy issues. Svetlana is a frequent speaker on FTC policy and enforcement issues, including FTC rulemaking. She was also recently named as one of Lawdragon’s “500 Leading Litigators in America.”

Svetlana previously served with distinction as Chief of Staff to Acting Chairman Maureen K. Ohlhausen at the FTC. As the agency chief of staff, she managed and oversaw agency operations, including bureau and office heads reporting to the Chairman, a seven-member office staff, and an agency budget of over $300 million. She also served as the Acting Chairman’s key advisor on consumer protection and competition investigations and litigation, working with a diverse team of attorneys and economists to preserve competition and protect U.S. consumers. She created, executed, and oversaw several strategic initiatives for the agency, including the agency process reform, regulatory reform, and data security transparency initiatives. Previously, she had the unique experience of serving in both litigating bureaus of the FTC: the Bureau of Competition and the Bureau of Consumer Protection. After her impactful tenure at the FTC, Svetlana served as the Vice President & Associate General Counsel at NCTA, the Internet & Television Association, where she helped lead the association’s consumer protection and competition policy work.

Svetlana is active in the Federalist Society, and recently received the Federalist Society Practice Groups Division’s inaugural Volunteer of the Year Award for “the energy she has brought to the Executive Committee as Co-Chair [of the Corporations, Securities & Antitrust Practice Group] and the important impact she has made upon the Federalist Society’s antitrust programming over the past year.”

Svetlana is also involved in the ABA Antitrust Law Section (“Section”), currently serving as the Section’s Committee Officer. In that role, she oversees the operations of 28 Section substantive committees, including committees covering consumer protection, privacy, corporate counselling, and federal civil enforcement. Svetlana is a keen supporter of, and mentor to, law students and young lawyers interested in antitrust and consumer protection law. She helped create the Section’s Young Lawyer Representative Program, now in its 12th year, and the Section’s Law Ambassador Program, each aimed at developing and promoting the next generation of consumer protection and competition attorneys.

Svetlana served as a Judicial Intern to the Honorable John L. A 25-year digital media pioneer Richy has led seven startups: three inside of big media companies, four outside. Richy now serves as Co-Founder and CEO of SafeGuard Privacy. He previously held executive roles at leading brands, agencies, and media companies. In his role as CEO/COO at Medialets, Richy pivoted & sold the company to WPP. Richy was on the founding team of CNN.com, the CEO/Founder of Phase2Media, a co-founder of IAB, and a co-founding board member of Breastcancer.org. Richy has also served at MTVN, Turner Broadcasting, and News Corp.

Daniel Goldberg is Chair of the Privacy & Data Security Group at Frankfurt Kurnit. Widely considered one of the top privacy lawyers in the US, he has been consistently recognized by top legal rating organizations including Chambers USA, The Legal 500, and Super Lawyers. Mr. Goldberg counsels clients on all matters involving data – from collection and monetization to security and incident prevention. He has special expertise in ad tech and technology transactions, often negotiating sophisticated agreements on behalf of top agencies, brands, and technology providers. Mr. Goldberg regularly advises clients on GDPR and CCPA compliance, and is now actively preparing clients for new US privacy laws taking effect in 2023, including the CPRA, VCDPA, and CPA. He is based in Los Angeles and admitted to practice law in California.

Stacey Gray, CIPP/US, is the Director of Legislative Research & Analysis at the Future of Privacy Forum (FPF) and leads FPF’s engagement on federal and state privacy legislation. This team supports policymaker education around emerging technologies and data-driven business models, and building consensus towards a comprehensive consumer privacy law in the United States.

Prior to leading FPF’s legislative engagement, she spent several years focusing on the privacy implications of data collection in online and mobile advertising, platform regulation, cross-device tracking, Smart Homes, and the Internet of Things. At FPF, she has authored FCC and FTC public filings, and published extensive work related to the intersection of emerging technologies and federal privacy regulation and enforcement. Stacey graduated from the University of Florida in 2010 with a B.S. in Biology and a specialization in biotechnology, and cum laude from Georgetown University Law Center in 2015, during which she worked in privacy-related civil rights litigation as a law clerk for Victor M. Glasberg & Associates, and as a member of the civil rights division of the Institute for Public Representation.

Michael Hahn is Executive Vice President & General Counsel at IAB and IAB Tech Lab. Michael has responsibility for all legal matters, including the direction of legal strategy, privacy compliance, antitrust compliance, intellectual property rights issues, and general corporate matters. Michael is also responsible for serving as an advocate for the digital advertising industry on common legal issues affecting member companies.

Michael joined IAB and IAB Tech Lab from Lowenstein Sandler LLP where he served as Vice Chair of the firm’s Antitrust Practice Group. In that role, he provided clients with strategic counsel around competition, distribution and governance issues. In the area of litigation, Michael’s matters have included multiparty class action antitrust defense representation.

Michael served previously as Co-Chair of the New Jersey State Bar Association Antitrust Law Committee. Jennifer Hanley is the Head of Safety Policy for North America at Meta. She works with internal teams, external partners, and government stakeholders on issues including women’s safety, child safety, bullying prevention, and youth safety and well-being. Prior to Meta, she was Vice President for Legal and Policy at the Family Online Safety Institute (FOSI) where she directed FOSI’s government outreach and policy strategy and advised technology companies on best practices and emerging online safety issues. Jennifer is a Member of the Board of the National Network to End Domestic Violence (NNEDV).

Sara Kloek is the Software & Information Industry Association’s (SIIA) vice president of education and children’s policy focusing on a broad range of issues including student and children’s privacy. Sara previously served as the senior privacy and technology fellow at the U.S. Department of Education in the Office of the Chief Privacy Officer.

Much of her time there was spent leading interagency discussions and subsequent negotiations related to guidance on student privacy and educational technology. Prior to her fellowship, she led the development of privacy and transparency best practices for apps for children and served as an education policy advisor to a senior member of the U.S. House of Representatives. Sara is an International Association of Privacy Professionals Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) and recently authored a chapter on student privacy in IAPP’s “Children Privacy and Safety” book. She is an enthusiastic advocate for education technology, clear privacy policies, and bees.

Rowena brings years of experience in product development of ad-supported casual games on mobile and web. Most recently, she led product at Jump Ramp Games where she was responsible for the strategic direction and vision of the consumer-facing mobile apps. This included the development and launch of several games, supporting internal tools, and ad monetization services. In addition to product leadership, Rowena also has a background in digital marketing. In her spare time, Rowena enjoys trying out new recipes and traveling.

Natalie LaPorta is the Interim Chief US Privacy Officer for Walgreen Co. focused on a wide range of privacy matters that impact U.S. patient and consumer data privacy including state and federal data privacy compliance, complex contract negotiations, digital privacy, de-identification, AI, analytics, and marketing. Prior to her most recent role at Walgreens, Natalie was an associate attorney at Dentons US LLP where she handled health care regulatory, tax exempt bond finance, and mergers and acquisitions matters. She holds a bachelor’s degree in political science from Benedictine University and a law degree from The John Marshall Law School.

Bertram Lee serves as a Policy Specialist with the Office of Policy Analysis and Development (OPAD) with the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) where he leads OPAD’s work on artificial intelligence. Bertram is a technology policy expert who has testified in front of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, House Judiciary Committee, and House Energy & Commerce Committee on a variety of issues such as facial recognition technology, data privacy, civil rights, and algorithmic bias. Previously Bertram has worked for the Future of Privacy Forum, the Leadership Conference on Civil and Human Rights, Public Knowledge, and served as Policy Counsel at the House Committee for Education and Labor under Chairman Robert C. Scott.

Brian Lesser is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of InfoSum. Brian believes in delivering better consumer experiences through privacy-enhancing technology. He is responsible for reinventing how companies and agencies collaborate without sharing customer data using the InfoSum platform. Brian has previously led high-growth media and technology businesses for WPP and AT&T, including Xaxis, GroupM, and Xandr.

Tamara Lev is a Data Privacy Attorney, currently working at Dish Network. Tamara supports Media Sales by providing guidance on how to navigate the complex world of data protection in the adtech sphere. Her professional journey commenced with the practical implementation of privacy and security measures across a range of diverse industries. This experience allowed her to adeptly bridge the gap between legal requirements and the practical needs of businesses. Tamara’s pragmatic approach underscores her commitment to ensuring data security and privacy in a rapidly evolving landscape.

Ari Levenfeld is the Global Head of Ads Privacy for Google’s Government Affairs and Public Policy team. He has spent the last 20 years working for technology companies, focusing specifically on privacy, global compliance, data protection and policy. Prior to Google, Ari was Chief Privacy Officer for a number of digital ads and AI companies including Quantcast, Sizmek and Rocket Fuel. Ari holds a BA from the University of California at Santa Cruz, and a Master’s degree from the University of Southern California. He served as an NAI board member for 5 years and co-Chair of IAB Europe’s Transparency and Consent Framework Steering Committee, which he helped to create. Ari has published extensively on public policy related to digital privacy and holds several ad fraud prevention technology patents.

Michael S. Macko is the Deputy Director of Enforcement at the CPPA. He has nearly two decades of litigation and investigative experience both in industry and the public sector, including as in-house counsel handling government and regulatory litigation, and as Assistant U.S. Attorney and Trial Attorney at the U.S. Department of Justice and U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He started his career as a litigator at a large law firm and clerked for judges on the U.S. Court of Appeals and U.S. District Court. A former adjunct professor of law, he holds a B.A. from Penn State and a J.D. from the University of Pennsylvania Law School.

Dr. Aaron Massey joined FPF in August 2022 as Technologist and Senior Policy Analyst for Advertising Technologies and Platforms. Previously, he was an Assistant Professor of Software Engineering at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC). Aaron is a recipient of the Walter H. Wilkinson Graduate Research Ethics Fellowship and a recipient of a Google Policy Fellowship. Before UMBC, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at Georgia Tech’s School of Interactive Computing. Aaron earned a PhD and MS in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and a BS in Computer Engineering from Purdue University.

Maneesha Mithal is a partner in the privacy and cybersecurity practice in the Washington, D.C., office of Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where she advises clients on privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection matters and represents companies in regulatory investigations. She is also one of the founding members of Wilson Sonsini’s AI group.

Maneesha is an internationally recognized expert on privacy and data security, having led the Federal Trade Commission’s (FTC’s) Division of Privacy and Identity Protection prior to joining the firm. In this capacity, Maneesha oversaw a team of 40 lawyers responsible for the enforcement of privacy and security laws and the development of policy positions in areas such as artificial intelligence, facial recognition, biometrics, and connected cars, as well as health privacy, children’s privacy, ransomware, and the intersection of privacy and competition. She was also responsible for enforcing the Fair Credit Reporting and Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act Safeguards Rule. She led the negotiation of numerous privacy and data security settlements and managed the first litigated FTC decisions on cybersecurity issues. Maneesha also worked with congressional staff on federal privacy legislation, with state attorney general offices on joint investigations, and with other federal and international agencies on a variety of initiatives.

Earlier in her career, as a manager with the FTC’s International Consumer Protection Division, Maneesha worked on European privacy issues and served as a U.S. delegate to the privacy committees of the OECD and APEC.

Maneesha previously served as Chief of Staff and Senior Counsel in the Bureau of Consumer Protection (BCP), where she reviewed advertising cases and financial consumer protection matters, and held various positions in BCP’s International Division, including as Acting Associate Director. She began her legal career as a litigator at Covington & Burling.

Maneesha is a frequent speaker at industry events, including IAPP- and ABA-led panels.

Robyn Mohr counsels clients on a wide variety of matters related to new media, technology, mobile and digital marketing, advertising, and privacy. She also advises on compliance with various state and federal laws and regulations, representing clients in a variety of industries, including consumer products, telecommunications, internet and entertainment.

Dera Nevin is a data lawyer and expert with more than 20 years of experience addressing digital risk issues including privacy, data protection, information risk management, e-discovery and the application of emerging technologies to the delivery of legal services. Ms. Nevin specializes in applying artificial intelligence, automation and synthetic data strategies to complex client challenges.

Ms. Nevin works closely with corporate and law firm clients to establish litigation and regulatory readiness programs and benchmark and operationalize technology-forward data compliance frameworks. Prior to joining FTI Technology, Ms. Nevin was the Data Policy and Strategy Officer, legal and compliance, at Blackstone, Inc., where she developed and oversaw global privacy, data protection, information risk management and data science compliance programs, including selection and implementation of privacy technology and data discovery technology. She also established due diligence policies and frameworks for M&A activity and portfolio company oversight. She has also practiced as a data lawyer at Baker & McKenzie and Proskauer Rose, as well as at additional financial institutions and law firms.

Rafael Reyneri is a staff attorney in the Federal Trade Commission’s Division of Advertising Practices, which works to protect consumers from deceptive or unfair advertising. Before joining the FTC, he was an associate at the law firm of Covington & Burling. He also clerked for Judge Andre Davis on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit and Judge Margo Brodie on the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Prior to law school, he was a Legislative Assistant for Congressman Jared Polis. He received his B.A. from Boston College and graduated magna cum laude from the New York University School of Law where he was awarded Order of the Coif.

Julie Rubash is General Counsel and Chief Privacy Counsel for Sourcepoint, the data privacy software company. Julie brings over 15 years of legal experience both at law firms and as internal counsel in the media, technology, and advertising sectors. Prior to Sourcepoint, Julie served as the VP of Legal at advertising platform Nativo. She coordinates legal efforts for Sourcepoint and ensures that the product suite innovates and expands to meet the demands created by the changing regulatory landscape.

Ethan Sailers serves as a Solution Engineering Manager at OneTrustTM— part of the #1 most widely used privacy, security and marketing user experience technology platform. In his role, Sailers advises companies large and small on best practices to drive engaging user experiences and build trust while demonstrating compliance across 100s of global data privacy regulations, including the CCPA, TCPA, CASL and GDPR. Sailers is a Certified Information Privacy Professional (FIP, CIPP/E, CIPM) and earned a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Systems Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology.

Prior to joining Lowenstein, Matt worked for the Department of the Army, negotiating and drafting multi-million dollar procurements for communications and electronics equipment and related services, with an expertise with the FAR, DFARS, and AFARS.

Brandon is currently Senior Vice President, Global Privacy for Paramount where he leads the company’s global privacy program’s day-to-day operations, partnering with business, sales, and technology teams around the world.

Lei advises clients on a wide range of global data privacy issues and works collaboratively to develop practical privacy and data protection strategies for their products and services. She helps companies navigate and comply with state, federal and international privacy regulations including the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and other state consumer data protection laws. She also advises on issues concerning emerging technologies, such as telematics, connected products and services (including connected and autonomous vehicles), and AI.

Lei has been accredited by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) as a Certified Information Privacy Professional/United States (CIPP/US) for over 10 years. She was named to Global Data Review’s “40 Under 40” list for top data lawyers from around the world. Lei frequently speaks and writes on data privacy-related topics.

Lartease Tiffith is the Executive Vice President for Public Policy at the Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB). He leads IAB’s public policy team, which is responsible for advocating on behalf of IAB’s more than 700 member companies on complex issues, including consumer privacy, data security, global trade, international data transfer rules, and more. Lartease also leads IAB’s Public Policy Council, the marketing and media industry’s largest legislative and regulatory advisory group, with senior executives from more than 200 companies contributing to solutions to advance consumer benefits and economic growth. He also plays an important role in supporting IAB Tech Labs efforts to align the industry’s technical development and best practices. 

Lartease joined IAB from Amazon, where he led the company’s public policy work around advertising, privacy, security, data governance, cross-border data flows, and consumer protection issues. In his role, he provided counsel to internal legal and business partners on global public policy matters to help guide the development of products, services, and internal policies. During his tenure at Amazon, INSIDER named him as one of the key players in politics and the tech world. 

Prior to joining Amazon, Lartease served as Senior Counsel to then-U.S. Senator Kamala Harris, and Counsel to U.S. Senator Dianne Feinstein. Before working in the Senate, he practiced law at two international law firms (Kirkland & Ellis LLP and O’Melveny & Myers LLP) and the U.S. Department of Justice. Lartease began his legal career as a Law Clerk to the Honorable Roger L. Gregory, Circuit Judge, on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. 

Lartease earned his B.A., J.D., and M.B.A. from Northwestern University.

As Senior Vice President in Engineering at Magnite, Simon is responsible for the engineering teams that develop and innovate Magnite’s DV+ supply-side platform, SpringServe ad server, and Demand Manager header bidding solution.


He has worked in software development for 25 years, first in e-commerce, then finance, and now 10+ years in ad tech. He specializes in highly-available, high-throughput, transactional systems. Within Tech Lab, he has contributed to the development of several standards, most notably VAST 4.2.


Simon holds a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Brunel University.

Amelia Vance, a globally recognized expert in child and student privacy, is the Founder and President of the Public Interest Privacy Center, and Chief Counsel of the Student and Child Privacy Center at AASA, the School Superintendents Association. In that capacity, she advises nonprofit organizations, policymakers, government agencies, and education practitioners and stakeholders on legal protections and actionable best practices to ensure the responsible use of child and student data. Amelia is also the co-chair of the Federal Education Privacy Coalition and an adjunct professor teaching U.S. and E.U. privacy and data protection at William & Mary Law School. She has authored multiple resources on student and child privacy.

Melanie brings 15 years of brand marketing and legal experience to MediaLink. As a Senior Vice President and leader of MediaLink’s contract optimization practice, Melanie helps Fortune 100 and Fortune 500 brands enhance operational governance, reenvision agency ecosystems, and adopt modern approaches to global contract design.

Melanie began her career in brand marketing and achieved several years of success as the Vice President of Marketing at BMF Media, and later, United Entertainment Group. There, she led an energetic team of practitioners and executed award-winning and revenue-generating B2C initiatives for clients including: Heineken, Nike, Ebay, Bose, ASICS, The North Face, Smuckers, REVOLT TV, and more. She also worked in collaboration with legal affairs; fully-immersed in structuring content, brand partnership, and retainer deals.

Prior to joining MediaLink, Melanie worked as a consultant, guiding the business and legal strategies for early-stage marketing agencies and lifestyle brands.

Melanie graduated from Northwestern University with a B.A. in Communications and Business Institutions, holds a J.D. from New York Law School and is a member of the California State Bar.

Yael Weinman is an Associate General Counsel at Verizon where she focuses on policy issues relating to privacy. Prior to Verizon, Yael launched the privacy portfolio at ITI, a technology trade association.

Previously, Yael spent more than ten years at the FTC in a number of roles. She served as an attorney advisor to Commissioner Julie Brill, worked in the Office of International Affairs, and monitored compliance with FTC orders.

Yael is a frequent panelist and has testified in Congress. She earned her J.D. at Fordham Law School and her B.A. at the University of Pennsylvania. She is a native of Brooklyn, New York.
