In a letter to Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Grassley and Ranking Member Leahy, Randall Rothenberg and 15 other trade association leaders urged passage of the Judicial Redress Act by the end of the year. The Judicial Redress Act is a necessary precursor to completion of the U.S.-EU Umbrella Agreement on Law Enforcement Cooperation. The bill will also play an important role in establishing a new U.S.-EU Safe Harbor framework for the transfer of commercial data across the Atlantic, which would provide thousands of U.S. businesses, including many IAB member companies, increased access to European markets.
