NEW YORK, NY (June 1, 2020) – IAB today announced comedian Scott Rogowsky as host of this year’s reimagined IAB NewFronts (June 22-26).

Rogowsky rose to fame as host of HQ Trivia, a hugely popular mobile game show. He currently co-hosts ChangeUp on DAZN, a nightly whiparound-style show that provides coverage of all Major League Baseball games, where he provides real-time commentary, and conducts interviews with league talent and insiders. In 2018, Rogowsky was named one of Time’s 25 Most Influential People on the Internet.

“A digital pioneer, Scott is the perfect choice to host this year’s first-ever virtual NewFronts,” said David Cohen, President, IAB. “His irreverent media savvy approach is exactly what this event needs – he’ll help us break down what’s really happening and why it matters as we all navigate our new streaming future.”

“As someone whose career has flourished at the convergence of entertainment and technology, I’m thrilled to be hosting IAB NewFronts,” said Scott Rogowsky. “It will be fascinating to watch all the key players of our new media landscape come together to unpack the ever-changing market and shape future consumer experiences.”

Rogowsky will be teamed with some of the most respected co-hosts in the industry: co-founder and lead analyst of TVR[E]V Alan Wolk will kick-off NewFronts on Monday, followed by Bon Appétit Test Kitchen Video Host Clair Saffitz on Tuesday, host and senior editor of Marketplace Tech, Molly Wood on Wednesday, and business anchor at Cheddar, Nora Ali, on Thursday. Friday’s host will be confirmed in the next few weeks.

“With Alan Wolk, Molly Wood, Claire Saffitz and Nora Ali’s expertise in the media and advertising space, combined with Rogowsky’s witty questioning of the status quo we should see interesting sparks fly,” Cohen continued. “These will be exciting days, packed with insights.”
