IAB Adds to Professional Staff

Kelly Colbert Named VP Marketing
Karen Yedvab Named VP Sales

New York, NY – August 7, 2002 – The Interactive Advertising Bureau (IAB) has named Karen Yedvab to the position of Vice President of Sales, joining Kelly Colbert who recently joined that IAB as Vice President of Marketing. The announcement of both appointments was made by Greg Stuart, President & CEO of the IAB, to whom they will report.

“Kelly and Karen are the new face of the IAB – talented, aggressive, driven individuals – who have a passion to ‘change the world’ of interactive marketing and advertising. The IAB Board and I are proud to have them join our mission.” Mr. Stuart noted. “Additionally, as we continue to grow our membership, and develop significant initiatives in support of the online advertising medium, it is vital that our executives not only understand the industry, but are leaders of it. Both Kelly and Karen have the necessary experience and their understanding of the industry and dedication to its growth and prosperity are very significant additions to the IAB’s professional resources.”

Most recently VP Marketing and Business Development at Word of Net, an online measurement and market research firm, Colbert brings an extensive background in strategic branding, business development and Web marketing to her position at the IAB. While with Reuters, Ms. Colbert launched Planet Reuters, an information service targeted at ISPs in addition to a number of transaction and briefing services for ad agencies. As Business Development Manager of Reuters New Media she grew the account base by 35% with accounts including leading companies like Time Warner and Sony. As VP Marketing at Bpath, she was responsible for all marketing activities in the US and Europe, helping to launch a product line that offered online advertising. Prior to that she served as Director of Marketing at AdForce, an ad management service for online publishers, where she led the company’s activities in marketing, public relations advertising, product management and online development initiatives. Ms. Colbert holds a BA in English from the University of Connecticut.

Mr. Pagan joins the IAB from AOL/Time Warner where he was most recently Director, Agency Relations Group, working with both traditional and interactive agencies. Prior to that, he was Director, Business Development, heading a team of business development managers and a direct sales staff responsible for generating cross platform integrated marketing and transaction-based programs. These efforts generated over $77 million in revenue from such clients as L’Oreal, Barnes & Noble, Avon, and Shering Plough among others. Previously, he was VP of Sales at Sticky Networks and News Alert. Mr. Pagan has also held senior sales positions with IBM Corporation and CondCondé Nast Nast, and is a graduate of Iona College with a BA and BBS in Political Science and Marketing/Business Administration.
