This study, presented by SRI (Les Régies Internet), conducted by PwC, in partnership with UDECAM, gives an indispensable insight into the digital advertising market in France and its rapidly changing ecosystem, analyzing the evolution of its revenues by ad formats, types of purchases, and devices.
The overall e-pub market nears 3.5 billion euros, up 7% from 2015. Digital is the primary media invested in for the whole of 2016 (29.6%), above television (28.1%).
All sectors are growing:
- Search: + 4.3%, representing 55% of the total market and total net sales of € 1,893m
- Display: + 14.5%, representing 35% of the overall market and total net sales of € 1,204m
- Others: + 3.2%, representing 10% of the overall market and total net sales of € 447m
The grow of display (+14,5%) is exclusively carried by social.
