Designed for advertisers, publishers, and platforms working to align planning, buying, and measurement across the video ecosystem.
Digital video today spans a fragmented mix of channels, formats, and screens — and without consistent definitions, that fragmentation creates real inefficiencies in planning, buying, and measurement. IAB’s Redefining Media Types (RMT) standard tackles this problem head-on, giving advertisers, publishers, and platforms a shared, future-proof language for describing video. In this webinar, we will break down what RMT is, why it matters now, and what it changes in practice — from how teams plan and execute campaigns to how they compare results across the video landscape.
We’ll cover the gaps RMT is designed to close, how the standard was developed, and what organizations should do to prepare for adoption.
