Andrew’s expertise bridges the gap between technological requirements and legal compliance, empowering teams to innovate and grow.
Prior to IAB, Andrew was privacy counsel to Albertsons retail media network and product teams, held his own law firm, and served in numerous staff augmentation role including acting as global head of privacy and deputy privacy officer. He enjoys running, having a good laugh with friends and family, focusing on his golf swing, and serving his community through local outreach.
Jacob Feder is a Senior Associate at Fieldfisher in Germany, where he has been contributing his expertise since 2019. Specializing in advising clients with digital business models, Jacob focuses on German and EU law, in particular privacy regulation, unfair trade practices regulation and technology regulation. His work encompasses both strategic advice and litigation, often defending clients’ business models. His clients include cloud service providers, household-brand social networks and review platforms, some of the world’s leading ad tech businesses and IT service providers. Jacob is fluent in German and English, holds a degree from the Bucerius Law School, and has international experience from his time at the University of Auckland
Achim Schlosser serves as Vice President Global Data Standards at Bertelsmann, where he works with the company’s divisions to enable scalable data-driven business models through data collaboration across the Group and to future-proof these models with trusted data standards, privacy-preserving technologies, and strategic alignment with regulatory and market developments. Representing Bertelsmann, he is actively involved in shaping industry standards for data use, privacy, and AI. He is a recipient of the IAB Tech Lab Lifetime Achievement Award for his work on privacy standards. His experience includes key roles at Big Four firm KPMG and the Silicon Valley–funded startup ParStream, as well as global organizations such as DHL and Airbus. Prior to joining Bertelsmann, he served as CTO of the European netID Foundation.
Stephan is a partner at Fieldfisher in Hamburg with 12 years’ experience in technology law. Stephan advises clients from across the globe in privacy regulation, media regulation, unfair trade practices regulation and technology law matters, with a particular focus on the adtech industry and AI regulation. His clients include cloud service providers, household-brand social networks and review platforms, some of the world’s leading ad tech businesses and specialist software providers for regulated industries. He regularly represents his clients in courts, including the European Court of Justice and the European Court of Human Rights.
