IAB Performance Marketing Committee Welcomes New Co-Chair

IAB Performance Marketing Committee Welcomes New Co-Chair 2

The experts who lead the IAB’s committees, councils and working groups must not only be dedicated to their craft, but also passionate about elevating the knowledge, skills, and expertise of the workforce across the industry.

IAB Performance Marketing Committee Welcomes New Co-ChairIt’s with this in mind that I’m excited to announce Neil Hoyne, Google’s Head of Customer Analytics, as the new co-chair of the IAB’s Performance Marketing Committee. Neil joins incumbent co-chair John Busby, SVP of Marketing & Analytics at Marchex, to help advance the committee’s goal of developing best practices around cross device/platform media measurement and accountability.

As a sought after speaker at industry, government and academic events, as well the author of over a dozen patent applications for digital marketing analyses and optimization techniques, Neil will play a large role in helping the IAB as we refocus the performance committee on attribution as a key 2016 agenda item.

At the same time I’d like to extend a warm thank-you to Dave Tan, Google’s Director of Agency Development, who has ably served as a co-chair of this committee for the past several years.  While I didn’t get to work with him for very long since joining the IAB in October of last year, I know Dave was an awesome leader of the group, and the IAB is very grateful for the time, energy and enthusiasm he brought to the committee during his tenure.

IAB members interested in getting involved in Performance Committee work should register here for our next meeting, which will take place on February 16 from 4-5:30p EST in the IAB’s NYC Ad Lab located at 116 E. 27th St., 8th Fl. Please reach out to [email protected] for more information on current attribution-specific projects and how to join.
