The IAB Tech Lab will hold a town hall in San Francisco to discuss ad blocking and have an open discussion about the IAB LEAN principles, and to share feedback and guidance. It will give you an opportunity to voice your concerns, challenges, and successes.
LEAN stands for Light, Encrypted, Ad choice supported, and Non-invasive ads, and is aimed at optimizing user experience to address the industry’s ad blocking challenge.
This West Coast town hall is part of a series of international town halls–the first one was held at the IAB Ad Operations Summit in New York City on November 2 (read more about it), providing direct input to the IAB Tech Lab working groups that are currently laying the ground work for global advertising standards creation and execution around the LEAN principles.
