After a 7 year career at Goldman Sachs on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange, Seth Levine decided on a career change.  “The day I left Goldman I took the subway home and as I approached my apartment I saw a line of people outside a bar.  I asked what the line was for and several people in chef coats said Hell’s Kitchen tryouts.  Although I was still in my work suit I got on the back of the line and my new career started.

After appearing on Fox’s hit reality TV show, “Hell’s Kitchen: Season 5,” Chef Seth Levine has been taking the culinary world by storm – a dream he has had since childhood – and he has built quite an impressive resume since leaving the show in 2007. In 2009, Levine opened his first restaurant and became the Executive chef at Georgica in East Hampton. Later that year Levine took on NYC opening several restaurants including! Wine and Roses, Sons of Essex, RSVP, and Gurneys in Montauk.

Levine currently own’s and presides over five restaurants and a catering company including The PenthouseRavel Events, Profundo Day Club, Hotel Chantelle (Lower East Side) and The Regal (Williamsburg). Levine admits that his passion for food started from a very early age. “I have to believe it is something I was born loving.  I was intrigued at such a young age.  I was super fortunate to go to culinary school in Italy but thought finance would ultimately be a better career choice.  While I loved what I was doing it wasn’t my dream and I knew I wouldn’t be happy forever.  Now I get to do what I love everyday.

Good Copy/Bad Copy: Executing Effective Brand Messaging Via Podcast
As the number of podcast listeners grows at breakneck speed, breaking through the noise has never been more important. In this workshop, you’ll learn what copy most resonates with listeners and what fails to penetrate in today’s most popular podcasts.

Participants will work together to create examples of on-air copy and have the opportunity to hear their messages come to life as a top podcast talent reads their messages.
